Everyone will have different priorities, and each store has benefits. However, I will buy this game from itch because I want to have the full installer archived, and not be dependent upon Steam. That said, Steam will update the game automatically, so for some folks that will be a priority. But for my own peace of mind, I always prefer to buy at itch.
The game will be out in early access on the 26th of this month ! So they updated the whole thing ! Cant wait to play some more ;) Go check on bluesky for Siris The Dragon. They listed whats new (new zones, trade system, crafting etc...) Looks sick !!!
This demo is more complete and interesting than most games. Really looking forward to the full game, and not just because I'm a scalie who started out as an Argonian in Morrowind.
I've been really enjoying the game, but I've been a little stuck on how to complete the jammer detruction quests. are they only destructable with Sledges, or does it have to do with the interaction button. I only get "you don't have what you need to perform this action " error message.
This is absolutely amazing and it's very generous of you to release a 'demo' like this. but I have 1 problem with the game right now.
The factions are not visually distinct enough from each other, so it's hard to tell people apart unless they are showing their patch, which they might not, or it might be blending in with their uniform, like lonely wolves.
Uniforms look good and distinctive under the bright light, like in the examples on their faction page, but you rarely see them so perfectly lit in the game.
I'm not suggesting you should brighten up the colors, I have something else in mind.
Look at the visual faction differences in the original Stalker games(stalker 2 sucks in this way, lol), every faction is different enough to have distinctly unique silhouettes - mercs have those huge vests with pockets, loners love their hoods, bandits always have someone wearing a long coat in their group, etc. And to top it off, they have unique walking animations - bandits are dragging their feet while slouched, duty keep their backs straight, loners always move holding their head low...
Add more personality to factions and they will become easier to tell apart.
This demo is great, the gun play feels great, movement is smooth and enemies are lethal if you underestimate them.
But there is a few problem though:
why does the deer thing take 9 shotgun shots to the face to kill
sometimes the environmental hazard spawn too much (like 5-6 on a street) making crossing the road a challenge
some quest provide too little information, it would be great if you could say more about the location of the objective, it took me like 30 minutes for the water lock dead drop and i have spend more than an hour and still cant find the police station dead drop
If this is the "demo"... I eagerly await the full release.
Good gravy, this is some of the best gunplay, atmosphere and horror I've seen from an indie title in... forever.
Love the zones, love the scalies, the lore's very intriguing, love the ambience, love love love the guns (and that I can shovel some orange douche in the face).
Don't love some of the... things I've seen... in the dark. But you put in grenade and rocket launchers so that's fair.
Honestly, the only thing I'd love is a bit more RPG-ness - talking with my black/red boys, chilling by the cute little stove, getting juicy gossip I have to decipher to find an artifact, etc.
That and maybe some character customization apart from armor/patch (holy heck you went berserk on the number of patches!).
Great demo and I'm sure great game when it gets released. takemymoney.meme 100%.
why I was wanted by the whole city as soon as I opened a new save (except for that strange junk shop owner), whether it was because I had a problem with my character's skin, or because I wasn't supposed to kill anyone in the League, must have been due to my lack of full understanding of the game text. The game is great overall, the AI is great, the NPCs are great, and some of the monster characters are designed to remind me of《Pacific Drive》, the fights are cool, and at the same time exercise my indomitable spirit!

Should I buy this from here or Steam?

"You're telling me they hide these guys in minecraft strongholds?"
Loved the demo and now loving the early access! If you like Stalker type games it's well worth the money :)

Kind people, help me, this is how the game looks like for me. Who knows, help.
I saw the page got updated, but what specifically changed?

I've been able to complete them by simply shooting them from a distance.

Are the dungeon entrances that say "keep out" going to be available in the full version? Or in a later demo?
Absolute banger demo. I sinked 16 hours into it already. Cant wait for the full game. Keep it up!
