nice main character ;)

Heya quick question. I've recently had to change to Mac and I reaaaaaaly want to play this I bought it on steam with the intention of playing it through crossover. Is it possible? It keeps saying that Microsoft visual c++ runtime issue but Ive tried all things I know and nothing fixes if I do get it to run by bypassing some libraries the game crashes and gives me a fatal error. Is there a way to play this on Mac? Is there a discord ?

Enjoying the game so far. I've totally ruined 2 long playthroughs now because right clicking with grenades stowed will drop one right in the middle of a (formerly) friendly base.

I'm unsure where else to post this but i was trying to get past the gun turrets at dead bridge and died and my bag has completely vanished. Is there a set spot where it spawns or something? Edit: it was in the water and was rather hard to see, also a suggestion if you aren't already working on it the ability the take off attachments and add them to a new weapon but only the same weapon i think for balancing, also a way to find our bags PLEASE, I've been search for an hour for my bag and can't find it in the stone maze

If you have a radio, you can use it to call the broker and have your bag retrieved for 7.5k. Early game it's a pretty steep price but if you're a good shot you can pretty easily get that much just by rinsing the slums and selling the guns at the lone wolf.

bought it on steam. loving this game so far. im not a furry/scaly but i love games with non human characters!
Suggestion: characters will call you a good stalker when you turn  in quests, and maybe have a patting animation? haha jk...

Hi, will you implement lumen in the future?

(+3)

Project Silverfish is an excellent game so far, I cannot wait to see what you have planned for it!

(Also, unless the placement is random- Could you give a hint for the placement of the signal jammer at Black Lake? I'm convinced I've looked everywhere, but I don't know where else it could be.)

(+3)

they are random but if you listen carefully they give of like a electronic static noise when you are close (headphones help greatly with this). Also look in places that are out of reach such as on top of a roofs edge or a tall machine. Hope that helps ^^

Is there a way to hold a flashlight in the offhand if you are using a sidearm or is the headlamp required?

(+2)

you cannot do that(Yet) but several weapons come with a flashlight and several head armors (Such as the ballistic mask helm thingy) also has a headlamp. though i strongly reccomend you aquire the nade launcher and use the flare rounds as they glow for a pretty long time before going out and the rounds themselves are not hard to come by.

♥️👍⬆️

This is a very large-scale and interesting game, I like the style. I would really love to see it in my language and can help with the translation.

If you're interested, please write to me.

Thank you !

perfect game thank u

screw the NFTA!!!

Something i would love to see for this game is some small quality of life chenges, such as being able to rearrange your notes. As someone currently Cataloging all of the anomalies, it would be suuuuuuuuper appreciated!

Should I buy this from here or Steam?

(+4)

Everyone will have different priorities, and each store has benefits. However, I will buy this game from itch because I want to have the full installer archived, and not be dependent upon Steam. That said, Steam will update the game automatically, so for some folks that will be a priority. But for my own peace of mind, I always prefer to buy at itch.

"You're telling me they hide these guys in minecraft strongholds?"

Loved the demo and now loving the early access! If you like Stalker type games it's well worth the money :)

good!!!!!

Kind people, help me, this is how the game looks like for me. Who knows, help.

Hey! Did you have any reply or workaround? Have the same issue

(+1)

On the Steam version, booting the game in DX 11 instead of 12 seemed to work for a few people.

I saw the page got updated, but what specifically changed?

(1 edit) (+2)

The game will be out in early access  on the 26th of this month ! So they updated the whole thing ! Cant wait to play some more ;) Go check on bluesky for Siris The Dragon. They listed whats new (new zones, trade system, crafting etc...) Looks sick !!!

(+4)

This demo is more complete and interesting than most games.  Really looking forward to the full game, and not just because I'm a scalie who started out as an Argonian in Morrowind.

(+3)

I've been really enjoying the game, but I've been a little stuck on how to complete the jammer detruction quests. are they only destructable with Sledges, or does it have to do with the interaction button. I only get "you don't have what you need to perform this action " error message.

(+1)

I've been able to complete them by simply shooting them from a distance.

(+1)

Sounds like you are trying to interact with an ether refill. An ether refill can be found near the scarecrow in the central area behind a building it has a light on the side and is about as wide as a small house. The jammers are small things with a red light and look like a small box very easy to miss.

This is absolutely amazing and it's very generous of you to release a 'demo' like this. but I have 1 problem with the game right now.

The factions are not visually distinct enough from each other, so it's hard to tell people apart unless they are showing their patch, which they might not, or it might be blending in with their uniform, like lonely wolves.

Uniforms look good and distinctive under the bright light, like in the examples on their faction page, but you rarely see them so perfectly lit in the game.

I'm not suggesting you should brighten up the colors, I have something else in mind.

Look at the visual faction differences in the original Stalker games(stalker 2 sucks in this way, lol), every faction is different enough to have distinctly unique silhouettes - mercs have those huge vests with pockets, loners love their hoods, bandits always have someone wearing a long coat in their group, etc. And to top it off, they have unique walking animations - bandits are dragging their feet while slouched, duty keep their backs straight, loners always move holding their head low...

Add more personality to factions and they will become easier to tell apart.

This demo is great, the gun play feels great, movement is smooth and enemies are lethal if you underestimate them.

But there is a few problem though:

why does the deer thing take 9 shotgun shots to the face to kill

sometimes the environmental hazard spawn too much (like 5-6 on a street) making crossing the road a challenge

some quest provide too little information, it would be great if you could say more about the location of the objective, it took me like 30 minutes for the water lock dead drop and i have spend more than an hour and still cant find the police station dead drop

Finally, i have 1 question: what is 7934

If this is the "demo"... I eagerly await the full release.

Good gravy, this is some of the best gunplay, atmosphere and horror I've seen from an indie title in... forever.

Love the zones, love the scalies, the lore's very intriguing, love the ambience, love love love the guns (and that I can shovel some orange douche in the face).

Don't love some of the... things I've seen... in the dark. But you put in grenade and rocket launchers so that's fair.

Honestly, the only thing I'd love is a bit more RPG-ness - talking with my black/red boys, chilling by the cute little stove, getting juicy gossip I have to decipher to find an artifact, etc.

That and maybe some character customization apart from armor/patch (holy heck you went berserk on the number of patches!).

Great demo and I'm sure great game when it gets released. takemymoney.meme 100%.

Are the dungeon entrances that say "keep out" going to be available in the full version? Or in a later demo?

Absolute banger demo. I sinked 16 hours into it already. Cant wait for the full game. Keep it up!

why I was wanted by the whole city as soon as I opened a new save (except for that strange junk shop owner), whether it was because I had a problem with my character's skin, or because I wasn't supposed to kill anyone in the League, must have been due to my lack of full understanding of the game text. The game is great overall, the AI is great, the NPCs are great, and some of the monster characters are designed to remind me of《Pacific Drive》, the fights are cool, and at the same time exercise my indomitable spirit!

(+2)

Really fun game for rainy days, tea, and a long video/ podcast. Just really fun. Felt a little stupid when I saw other characters like mine running around and acting with some solid AI, I thought they were actual people because of how some reacted poorly where others seemed REALLY smart. Super fun and cant wait to sink more hours into it.

Keep it up Champ!!

(+2)

Basically what if Metro Exodus + Stalker series + Scalies have a baby, still a solid game.

Played thru steam, Pretty cool.

So very excited for this !!!

Wiki site for a game would be cool

(+2)

One of my discord mods is working on one. Still a WiP: https://silverwiki.williamjcm.ovh/

This seems like fun :3 (i would play it but the game crashes under Proton :c)

Ah well, my laptop is slightly below spec anyways (8GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5500, 2.7 GHz 4-Core CPU)

All-right, so, look - I'll played this to death already, love it lots, still playing it even now. I'm wondering if there's a wider community I can join up with, like a Discord, as well as somewhere to go down a list of Q&A for questions about development, planned features, so on and so forth - or if you (addressed to Siris Pendrake) would like to keep development secret.

Any and all replies providing good info are welcomed, and appreciated.

(+1)

I know he has a channel on youtube (with the same Dev name) and I'm pretty sure he has a discord in the comments. You'd have to check though, hope this help!

hello I am here to say that I fucking love this game. :)

(1 edit)

This game is very promising. There's a few little annoyances (such as objects on the ground causing my camera to wobble very weirdly and make me move around unrealistically) but I'm really liking what's here so far.

I definitely feel that some sort of character progression is needed, though. Perks/Skills to build through or something would be nice - or maybe some way to unlock new kinds of attributes for future characters or something... I dunno. I like the gameplay loop for sure, but I don't really know if it just being a loot and shoot with the occasional fetch quest or kill-this quest is going to be a long-lived experience (still... this is a very early alpha so I have no idea what's planned in the future so I'm hopeful)

Will updating the game to the newest version delete previous progress? If so, is there a way to transfer it over? Thanks!

Im a filthy hoarder so i have a question , will storage chests in safe houses gonna be connected ? or as an option in custom settings only ? it would make this game easy which i dont think u wanna do it , but its just my question :V
